Innovating ergonomic workspace solutions for industrial environments

Our sustainability strategy relies on three key pillars:
Sustainable products
Employee wellbeing
Responsible production and practices

1. Sustainable Products and Services

Treston continuously gathers customer feedback to innovate solutions that are not only better for the user but also more sustainable.

  • Ongoing Development: Our product development team is continuously innovating, exploring more sustainable designs, practices, and materials as well as services.
  • Durability and Modularity: We design our products to be long-lasting and adaptable to various needs, supported by a leading 10-year guarantee on most items. This ensures that workstations can evolve with changing processes and individual requirements, making them future-proof.
  • CO2 Footprint Calculation: In 2022 we started to build our internal expertise on CO2 calculations. These insights help us identify and improve the most impactful aspects of our environmental footprint. In 2024 we reached the capability to calculate the CO2 footprint for our products. We target to share the CO2 results with our customers and stakeholders in the year 2025.
  • Recyclability: All metal, plastic, and aluminum parts in our products are recyclable, ensuring end-of-life sustainability.

Actions for the environment #1: Ecological Pre-treatment Method

Think further - act greener. We want to play our part in a cleaner environment and making sustainable choices. In the ‘Actions for the environment’ series, we want to highlight the concrete actions we are taking for the environment.

This article introduces the transition of a pre-treatment line to a completely phosphate-free alternative. Phosphates cause eutrophication when ingested. ‘The Apprentice’ accelerated the story of Treston BiOX

In the spring of 2021, Treston's product group manager, Kari Nokka, sat on his own sofa without a clue that in the next hour he would get an idea that would revolutionize Treston's plastic production. ‘The Apprentice’ was his program of choice.
